Everyone wants to decrease their electricity bills, correct?
A simple way of reducing your electricity bill is to connect household appliances to the off-peak tariffs.
A common appliance to change over is the hot water system. Any appliance has the potential to be changed over, however, there is a cost associated with connecting the isolator in order to do so. Solar hot water systems with an electric boost, heat pumps and electric storage hot water systems can be connected to off-peak tariffs.
An off-peak tariff can provide up to 18 hours of discounted power at a rate that is around 60% less than the usual domestic tariff. This can make a dramatic difference to the amount you can save on your power bill.
Another easy way to save on power is to use the timer on any of your appliances to set to the off peak demand times.
